Artists Residency at The Mill, Aveyron – France 2nd – 23rd September

I am excited to announce that I will be collaborating with The Mill France Artists Residency Programme as The Guest Artist for the September 2025 Residency running from 2nd- 23rd September !
The Mill France is in the Aveyron region of France- nearest airports Rodez, Beziers or Montpellier .
You may have seen Nathalie ( the founder of THe MIll France) speak at our first ever Salon of Doubt back in October 2023 at The Guild of Master Artists
Nathalie is a ceramic artist & fledgling writer. The residency is open to anyone who wants to spend time being creative, professional artists, amatures, hobbyists & no previous creative experience – All are welcome!
Just come with an open mind and a desire to dive into your own creativity!
As part of the residency we all have access & use of the ceramic studio & the Albion Printing Press for lino and stencil printing & The Flour Store – Studio & Exhibition space.
As part of the residency I will be giving a talk where I will explain what is important to my making practise, the balance of craft and content in my paper cutting, my working process, what’s behind it & what makes me use text in some of my works and not others, plus some insights to my inspirations & what influences me.
I will be running two half day workshops where I will be demonstrating, and you will be learning the art of Paper Cutting as creative technique.
At the end of these 2 workshop sessions you will be able to incorporate the art of paper cutting into your own style & your own works should you wish.
No previous experience is necessary, just an open mind to experiment & playing with paper! These workshops are included in the residency fee
