New Basic Tile RangePosted by on Thursday 30th January, 2014
I am very excited to give you an exclusive look at a new project we are in the process of making here at Ryantown HQ. Rob has been busy working on a new range of ‘Ryantown Basic’ Tiles. The tiles feature a colourful array of Rob’s classic imagery and are designed to be more pattern-based, to sit together in a group with the possibility to cover larger surface areas.
By placing the tiles next to each other, interesting colour combinatons and shapes start to emerge. As you can see from the images, the tiles will feature some of Rob’s romantic motifs; clouds, flowers, keys, padlock hearts, shoes, birds and clocks…to name a few!
At the Mangle studio, Tom screenprinted many combinations of the assorted shapes and patterns which have resulted in a brilliant display of colour sampling and experimentation.
We are aiming for a release date during the next few months, but in the meantime, I will track their progress and be the first the show you the final range in full.
